Personal data
The handling and protection of the personal data of visitors/users of this website are governed by the terms of this section, by the relevant provisions of Greek law on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, as supplemented by the decisions of the President of the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Presidential Decrees 207/1998 and 79/2000 and Article 8 of Law 2819/2000, and by European Union law.

GDPR (in force since 25 May 2018): data protection measures
At cloudon.gr you can be confident that your personal data are safe. Some of the procedures we follow are:
- Access to your account takes place over a secure connection to our site, to protect your data.
- Backups are stored outside the servers that host your websites or applications.
- Backups are encrypted with specialised algorithms.
- Access to all physical Datacenter locations is restricted to employees of our company or of our partners, and is monitored 24 hours a day by CCTV.
- Only a very small number of employees have access to your data and to your customers’ data (mainly for support purposes), and only where this is strictly necessary.
- All employees have signed non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and have received mandatory training on security awareness and the protection of your personal data.
Datacenter security
Our Datacenters are audited by the competent bodies for ISO 27001, PCI DSS and other certifications, which assure you that the infrastructure, the handling of your data and security meet the highest standards.
Our Datacenters are based in the EU
One of the requirements of the GDPR is that the data of European citizens must be stored within Europe. For this reason, all the Datacenters we work with to keep and safeguard your personal data are based in Europe.
Partners & CloudOn
Solely for the smooth operation of our electronic systems and IT infrastructure, we share the minimum necessary amount of data with our partners. All third parties we work with have been carefully assessed for GDPR compliance.
All of them hold the certifications and meet the standards required to protect users’ privacy.
We listen to your complaints and concerns
If you have a question about data privacy, please contact our Data Protection Officer (DPO).
What is a DPO?
In accordance with the GDPR, we have appointed a person to oversee all processes related to the protection of your data. This person is referred to as the “Data Protection Officer”.
